Terms & Conditions

Honey & Smoke is operated by PT Dapur Asian Lokal. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean PT Dapur Asian Lokal, and “you” means any guest, including anyone who books a table or buys a gift voucher.

These terms cover booking a table, dining with us, group bookings, private events and gift vouchers. They are here so that everyone knows where they stand, and so that one table’s arrangements do not spoil another’s evening.

In short

Book through our website or by WhatsApp. We hold your table for 15 minutes.
Online reservations cover both floors. Seating is not guaranteed; add a preference in Special Requests.
List allergies and intolerances in Special Requests when you book.
Honey & Smoke is entirely non-smoking, including vaping.
Children are welcome and there is a children’s menu.
Smart casual, or relaxed island wear. Come as you are.

Groups of 8 to 16 book a set sharing menu with a deposit; 17 to 34 take the Supper Club privately or semi-privately.

Booking a table

How to book. Reserve through the booking system on this website, or send us a WhatsApp message on +62 822 1515 1586. Both reach the same team.
Holding your table. Your table is held for 15 minutes from your reservation time. After that we may reallocate it, and we cannot guarantee an alternative table. If you are running late, please call us and we will do our best to hold it.
Seating. Online reservations cover both floors: the dining room downstairs and the Supper Club upstairs. Seating allocation is not guaranteed, and you may be seated downstairs on high chairs. If you have a seating preference, add it to the Special Requests box when booking.
Special requests. We will do our best to accommodate them, but we cannot guarantee them.
Last order and walk-ins. Last order is at 22:00. If your preferred time is unavailable, you are welcome to walk in, and we will seat you if a table becomes free.

Dining with us

Dietary requirements. Please list any allergies or food intolerances in the Special Requests box when booking. You can also tell our staff when you are seated, so they can guide your menu choices and inform the chef.
Smoke-free venue. Honey & Smoke is entirely non-smoking. Smoking, cigars and vaping are not permitted anywhere in the restaurant.
Children. Children are welcome, and a children’s menu is available. Please note that we do not provide baby seats, high chairs or changing tables.
Dress code. We invite you to dress smart casual and make the evening feel like an occasion. That said, come as you are: relaxed island wear is always welcome.
Bring your own wine. BYO wine is permitted only for full or half-venue buyouts, with no corkage fee. It is not permitted for regular or group bookings.
Your belongings. Please keep them with you. We cannot accept responsibility for items lost or stolen during your visit.

Group bookings

Group bookings are for 10 to 30 guests, at lunch or dinner, and are arranged through our Group Dining page rather than the standard booking system.

Menu. Several set sharing menus are available, each tailored to your group, with dishes from the fire served to the whole table together. The menus and prices are sent with your quote, so you are looking at what is actually being served on your date.
Deposit. IDR 200,000 nett per person confirms the booking. It is credited to your bill on the day. Deposits may be paid by bank transfer.
Seating. Seating is allocated across both floors when your booking is confirmed; tell us if you have a preference.
Confirming. Menu choices, dietary requirements and the final number of adults and children must be confirmed at least 48 hours before the booking.
Holding a date. A tentative booking may be released if we have not heard from you, particularly in peak season. Once the deposit is received we confirm by email.
Occasions. Tell us at the time of booking about birthdays, anniversaries or anything else we should prepare for.

Prices are subject to 7.5% service charge and 10% government tax.

Private events

For 17 to 34 guests, the Supper Club upstairs can be booked privately: IDR 30,000,000++ for lunch (12pm to 4pm) or IDR 70,000,000++ for dinner (5pm to 11pm); or semi-privately for one evening seating at IDR 35,000,000++ (5pm to 8pm, or 8.30pm to 11pm). Full and half-venue buyouts may bring their own wine, with no corkage fee. See Private Events.

Deposit. The deposit and payment schedule are confirmed with your quote.
Menu. The group set menu, or a custom set menu requested at least two weeks before the date. The menu must be chosen two weeks before.
Guest numbers. 17 to 34 guests. The final headcount must be confirmed at least 15 days before the event. Any increase beyond that number is charged accordingly.
Timing. The event begins at the agreed time. Overtime beyond the arranged schedule is charged hourly.
Drinks. No full bottles of spirits on tables, and shots are not included unless arranged in advance.

Cancelling a private event

More than 30 days before the event: full refund, excluding transfer fees.
15 to 30 days before: 50% charge.
Fewer than 14 days before: 100% charge.

Gift vouchers

A voucher entitles the bearer to a dining experience at Honey & Smoke, as stated on the front of the voucher. Order one on our Gift Vouchers page.

Validity. 12 months from the date of issue, unless a different expiry date is printed on the voucher.
Single use. Any remaining value after redemption is forfeited.
Redemption. Dine-in only at Honey & Smoke. Advance booking is required, and the original voucher must be presented before or at the time of billing.
Not transferable between restaurants.
Payment. We email a payment request for bank transfer. Any bank transfer fee is payable by the purchaser and is additional to the voucher value.
No cash value. Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash, refunded, or extended beyond the expiry date, and cannot be used to buy further vouchers.
If the bill is higher than the voucher value, the difference is payable by cash, debit or credit card.
Lost or stolen. Vouchers are the responsibility of the holder and will not be reissued or replaced. If you suspect unauthorised use, contact us immediately with proof of purchase, the voucher ID number and a valid photo ID.
Our rights. We may refuse a voucher that appears damaged, copied or tampered with, and may cancel one where we suspect fraudulent use. Vouchers remain our property until fully redeemed.

Payments and fees

Menu prices marked ++ are subject to 7.5% service charge and 10% government tax.
Bank transfer fees may apply depending on your bank, and are the responsibility of the guest.
Prices are subject to change. Where you have a confirmed booking at an agreed price, that price stands.
An invoice is issued for group and private event bookings.

Changes to these terms

We update this page when our arrangements change, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed. The terms that apply to your booking are the ones published when you booked.
